Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment for young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and implement our age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
-Understand and support our church and preschool's Mission and Vision
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Support the Lead Teacher by conducting engaging activities to support the development of essential skills
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childcare best practices and developmentally appropriate activities
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to work with children of diverse learning needs, including those with autism
- Experience in toddler care and daycare settings is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
