Position Overview:
Premier Surgical Network is currently seeking a Breast Program Manager for our New Jersey-based practice. The Breast Program Manager will play a crucial role as a liaison between the program Physician Director, physicians, staff and patients. Collaborating with the Program’s Medical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that operational practices are continually enhanced through the development, implementation, and evaluation of continuous quality improvement initiatives. This role involves evaluating current procedures, recommending changes to improve project efficiency, and managing various clinic and program projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between the program Medical Director, physicians, and staff.
Collaborate with the Program Medical Director to improve operational practices through continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Drive programmatic growth through referral management and marketing coordination across the referral base.
Optimize the patient experience as evidenced by superior patient satisfaction scores and patient retention.
Actively participate in the recruitment of new physicians and the analysis of the market opportunities to place new physicians within the markets served.
Monitor the competitive landscape to anticipate changes that could affect PSN’s program.
Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to enhance the efficiency of projects and service lines within the program.
Develop, analyze, and manage various clinic and program projects assigned by the administration and/or Program Physician Director.
Under the direction of the Medical Director, monitor staff physician productivity patterns and support plans to improve when necessary.
Create clinic project plans that identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics, and required resources.
Develop work plans including schedules, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
Establish procedures for the implementation of project outcomes.
Resolve day-to-day problems that impede the success of large-scale, multi-faceted projects involving program development and institution; work with individuals and teams to remove barriers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field. A Clinical background is a plus.
Proven experience in project management and healthcare administration.
Familiarity with breast care services and oncology programs is a plus.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements.
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement initiatives.
