Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Follow recipes and production schedules to meet customer demands
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed for optimal baking results
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute menu items
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of food handling, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and fulfill special orders
- Certification from a culinary institute or relevant training is a plus
