Purpose:
Floor & Decor is a leading specialty retailer of hard surface flooring, offering the broadest in-stock selection of tile, wood, stone, related tools and flooring accessories at everyday low prices. Based on our rapid company growth, the Learning & Development team has an opening for a Manager of Learning Operations. This position will manage our migration from Workday LMS platform to Axonify and have responsibilities for delivering the quality and consistency of learning content.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- 5+ years of LMS administrative experience. Axonify and Workday LMS and HCM preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or related HR functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, HTML5
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Experience in creating learning paths and content creation in an LMS authoring tool.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization and with different levels of technological understanding.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
- Develop and deliver standard reports on digital learning products
- Recommend improvements based on data findings to improve the value of online learning
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with a team of Instructional Designers and business partners.
- Work cross-functionally to maximize investment of LMS capabilities.
- Assure the efficient and effective operation of the LMS system to meet learning objectives.
- Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of all elements related to LMS functionality, including but not limited to content integrations and creation, curriculum programs, LMS structure, and reporting.
- Develop standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation and ensures LMS governance model is being followed.
- Ensure that training content is functioning properly within the various learning platforms.
- Understands and articulates system requirements and constraints.
- Provides customer service and technical/functional assistance to the support desk and end users.
- Conducts user acceptance testing of new learning technologies.
- Key role with external LMS vendors and supportive application solutions used for LMS development.
- Serve as a course delivery expert within the organization.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the learning department and talent management general operations.
- Coordinate with internal experts on data management and maintenance of the Learning team knowledge base for learning content.
- Additional responsibilities as directed by learning leadership to support the needs of the team.
- Analyze learner data and feedback to access the effectiveness of training programs
- Prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
