Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Process Engineer. This position will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Sage X3 Project specifically within the Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse management area of the commissary business. This role also involves troubleshooting issues, providing training, and ensuring the smooth operation of Sage X3. This position will be ongoing until all current Commissary site are live and then will be involved in converting any new acquisitions to Sage X3. Candidate will also have an active role in supporting the continuous improvement of the business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to users of the Sage X3 software via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, including system errors, bugs, and user inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, implementation, and customer support, to address user needs and improve product functionality.
- Document and assist with support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining accurate records of solutions for our knowledgebase.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and configurations as needed.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of the software.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to warehouse management systems and technology.
- Participate in testing new software releases and providing feedback to the development team.
- Assist with the development of user documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
- Provide on-site support and assistance during software implementations and go-live events, as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in distribution and warehouse environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with all warehouse team members.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or supply chain software is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software solutions.
- Availability to provide occasional after-hours support and travel to sites as needed.
