The Cashier forms a variety of clerical tasks utilizing accounting principles for posting payments and contractual adjustments to patient accounts including
- Researches and corrects all non-postable payments.
- Balances daily deposit and calls bank for change requests as necessary.
- Prepares account documentation for files and processing.
- Processes refunds.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Proficient in Accounting Principles
- Must possess knowledge of up-to-date PPO, EOB, RA, M/cal and M/care policies/procedures
- Current payment posting experience is required with a minimum of two years’ payment posting in a medical/hospital office setting
- High 10-key by touch strokes is critical
- Multi-task to serve as follow-up to Biller
- Ability to interface with patients, insurance companies and physicians offices
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
