The Neshaminy School District has an anticipated opening for a full-time, payroll bookkeeper to work in the Administration offices.This is a year round / 12 month position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: all activities needed to process and generate a bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1000 employees; review, processing and reporting of Federal, State and Local taxes and other payroll deductions; assist in payroll calculations and editing of salary changes; processing of State retirement reporting; research and provide appropriate information to inquiries from employees and various authorized agencies regarding payroll information; perform activities related to payroll processing including but not limited to tax deposits; transfer of funds, verification of account distributions and printing of reports; and preparation of Federal and State quarterly reports, W2s and fiscal and calendar year close.
Qualifications include a high school diploma and five years of payroll related experience; proficiency with Microsoft word and excel and experience with payroll/finance software programs (preferably E-Finance/Powerschool). Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and organization skills.
