Guest Relations & Safety Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and alert Guest Relations & Safety Specialist to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests and staff. This role requires a vigilant, friendly, and approachable individual who excels in both security protocols and customer service. You will be the frontline ambassador for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Pay: $18/hr plus tips (TIPS range from $2-$8/hr)
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, offering assistance, and ensuring their needs are met in a courteous and professional manner.
- Safety Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security standards are upheld.
- Incident Response: Respond to emergencies and incidents with professionalism; provide first aid and crisis management as needed.
- Access Control: Manage entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access; monitor guest and staff credentials.
- Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect irregular activities.
- Report Writing: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure that all company policies and legal regulations are enforced within the premises.
- Conflict Resolution: Address disturbances or conflicts among guests or staff calmly and efficiently.
- Training: Participate in ongoing security and customer service training to stay updated with the latest safety standards and service protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in security and customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
- Physically able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in security or customer service is a plus.
