*This position is located in Southeast San Francisco
This position performs various Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program activities including, but not limited to:
- Interview Housing Choice applicants/participants to obtain all necessary documentation and complete files as required.
- Ensure all required information is compiled and maintained in the applicant/participant file. Determine eligibility and/or ineligibility, verifies data, processes application, issues voucher, and conduct home visits, if necessary.
- Assist client with inquiries and/or problems concerning their housing needs; provide direction regarding responses and resolutions to client inquiries.
- Provide landlord interface assistance to include but not limited to abatement and inspections.
- Investigate client issues requiring expertise in determining causes; to include inquires of potential fraud and misuse of funding; suggest and direct action plan for resolutions.
*All additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree PLUS one (1) year of previous experience working with the public in a Housing Choice Voucher Program or similar relevant experience.

- High School diploma plus a minimum of four (4) years experience working with economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and/or families in a similar capacity.
- Proficiency with current office technology and software applications.
- Prior work experience in an office environment is a plus.'
