Duties:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, spinal tap, basic IV insertion, dialysis, Botox administration, cardiac catheterization, and neonatal ventilator management
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess their condition
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Skills:
- Valid nursing license and CPR certification
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of behavioral health, family planning, and other specialized areas of nursing
