POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting our Sr. Loan Processor in packaging a variety of loans for prospective Habitat Homeowners. This position will work very closely with the partner families monitoring program participation and monthly required loan documentation along with maintain a good working relationship with homeowners and representatives from USDA, SHIP, HOP, AHP and other 3rd party financing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
· Process and Maintain database of applications and interested individuals
· Maintain in-person Homebuyer Education Schedule.
· Assist in packaging SHIP, HOP, AHP and USDA / other 3rd party financing.
· Assist in preparing sales contracts disclosures and closing documents.
· Assist in scheduling pre-closing meetings with families to go over documents
· Assist with scheduling closing with title company.
· Assist with any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Commitment to the ecumenical Christian principles that Habitat for Humanity was founded on, ready to share the mission of HFHCC.
· Knowledge of family services requirements for partner families’ sweat equity hours.
· Organizational skills for efficient and timely management of program activities.
· Must have strong computer skills. Training will be provided with in-house software.
· Ability to be a lifetime learner and perform duties in a satisfactory manner.
· Attentive, empathetic, collaborative, and harmonious interpersonal skills
· Ability to relate well with all constituents, including staff, partnering families, volunteers, business, religious and political communities.
· High level of self-motivation and stamina in working an appropriate weekly schedule, which requires flexibility to respond to unexpected demands.
· Ability to appropriately represent HFHCC, advocating the mission and objectives of HFHCC at all functions, internally as well as throughout the community.
· Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communications skills.
· Ability to work patiently and effectively with partner families and volunteers.
· Maintain reasonable and presentable work attire.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
