Victorville Medical Office is seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Must have hands on experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft office software (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Strong knowledge of preparing payroll for small to mid-size companies including deductions, taxes, garnishments, 401K, time tracking for payroll, quarterly and year-end reporting
- Need a solid understanding of accounts receivable/accounts payable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Be able to work independently with very little supervision
- Must be able to multi-task; need strong overall computer skills; results driven
- Strict confidentiality required
Responsibilities:
Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
Working with staff accountants as needed
Reconciling company accounts
Assisting with tax payments and returns, and year-end census reviews
Preparing and filing financial documents
Email and phone correspondence
Must be willing to submit to background check and drug test
Skills:
- 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including excel, Outlook and Word
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- College level accounting classes, certificate or degree in accounting required.
Compensation- Contingent upon experience
