- Greet patients and walk them to MRI questioning area
- Confirm and identify all paperwork and patient information
- Explain applicable procedure
- Screen patients for MRI contraindications
- Review Scheduling information for appropriate exam
- Review appropriate images on EPIC in Media Manager
- Check “Study History” on EPIC for previous exam information
- Collect information of reason for exam and New or Old symptoms
- Instruct patent to change into gowns/shorts and lock up personal belongings into a locker
- Communicated with Technologist any information received for patient before entering MRI exam room
- Assist patient on/off exam table
- Change coil configuration for next exam
- Assist Doctor, nurse or technologist with supplies for injections
- Scan additional paperwork into Isite Primordial scanner with proper accession number for exam
- Make CD copies From Isite, requested by patients after exam is complete with proper paperwork
- Maintain patient workflow
- Communicate with registration and patients about delays in the appointment schedule
- Stock room and keep clean
- Confirm the MRI Safe wheelchair and oxygen readiness near department if necessary
