Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being. If you have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for home exercise programs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes
Qualifications:
- Doctorate, Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in outpatient settings is preferred
- Familiarity with geriatrics is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
