JOOLA (Sport Squad Inc.) is for looking for an experienced FP&A Manager with a passion for growth and interest in pickleball and table tennis! This will be the first full-time FP&A role in the company, so for the right person it can be a real opportunity for growth.

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, forecasting revenues, managing P&L’s, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Own the corporate forecast: Develop and maintain annual sales forecasts, expense budgets, and long-term financial plans, for the company at-large and for individual lines of business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the finance, sales, supply chain, marketing, and operations teams to gather inputs, requirements, and projections. Work closely with departmental leaders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Perform monthly variance analysis to compare actual results to budgeted and forecasted figures, identifying key trends and variance drivers. Update dashboards and key performance indicators for senior management.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior leadership, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree, or progress towards CFA or CPA a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a corporate or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must, and Business Intelligence tools such as Oracle NetSuite and Tableau, a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically to resolve complex issues and drive process improvements.
- Flexible and adaptability to navigate changing business priorities and requirements.
- An enthusiastic self-starter willing to embrace being the first person to hold this role.
