We are looking for a new team member to hold a unique part-time position within our practice. This person should have experience working within a dental office and should feel comfortable performing the following job duties:
- Greeting patients, answering phones, and attending to text messages/faxes/and emails.
- Scheduling appointments for different dental treatment needs
- Communicating with other medical/dental offices and laboratories
- Helping in our sterilization lab and setting up rooms for patients
- Open attitude towards learning basic dental assisting (future growth opportunity)
- General office housekeeping and organizing

Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or medical receptionist, highly preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus
- Proficiency in using computer and patient management systems (Eaglesoft highly preferred, Dentrix, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload
- Previous experience working in a dental office as an assistant or in sterilization is a huge benefit to our office, and if able to cross-train, we will consider the opportunity for advancement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dental/medical records management and documentation
- Familiarity with Eagleosft software or similar dental practice management software
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and health-conscious practices
- Strong attention to patient communication & experience, organizational skills, and time management.
