Program Manager Job Description
Active Education is currently hiring for the role of Program Manager in Inland Empire (Rialto/Fontana/Redlands).
We're seeking a dynamic and organized leader to oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple schools in the designated area. To be eligible, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience managing programs spanning over 8 individual sites.
Responsibilities:
Staffing and Instructor Management
- Collaborate daily with the operations manager to oversee multiple programs and staff.
- Work with the recruitment team to ensure alignment between instructor hiring and program needs.
- Support interviews and training sessions for all Active Education instructors assigned to schools.
- Manage weekly program scheduling, ensuring instructors are appropriately assigned to their teaching roles.
Quality Assurance and Professional Development
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure program quality and smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for instructor growth and skill development.
- Provide regular staff reviews.
- Support new staff onboarding & training.
School Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for Active Education matters at each school.
- Collaborate extensively with school administrators and foster strong connections with principals to offer practical solutions to their challenges.
- Implement school-specific policies and procedures as necessary.
Administrative Tasks
- Communicate updates, program information, and any pertinent issues with Principals and staff regularly via email and in-person meetings.
- Provide the Operations Manager with up-to-date communication via emails and SMS texts regarding any program information.
- Participate in monthly manager meetings and strategy meetings.
Qualifications:
- Passion for enriching the lives of young learners.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in children's programs spanning multiple sites.
- 3+ years of successful team management experience with instructors and/or coaches.
- Understanding of program structuring and implementation for children.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail & communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in interactions with parents, children, and staff.
Job Duties:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day preparations and operations of all programs in your region.
- Maintain daily communication with staff and the Operations Manager.
- Effectively utilize Active Education's digital platform to manage instructors' schedules.
- Ensure instructors are prepared and present for all scheduled programs.
- Monitor instructor attendance and performance.
- Review program feedback daily and promptly address any concerns.
- Conduct regular site visits across all locations.
- Evaluate Instructors and programs, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
