As an Airport information booth Agent you will handle lost & found items to provide excellent customer service to passengers by answering inquiries, directing travelers, and assisting with lost & found items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Staffs the information booth in the airport terminal during assigned shifts

Provides accurate directions and information regarding airport services, ground transportation, terminals, gates, etc.

Answers questions and assists passengers with requests for information.

Fields inquiries, complaints, and requests for assistance from travelers and visitors

Refers issues to supervisor when needed to ensure proper resolution.

Performs lost & found duties including recording items that are turned in, storing properly with detailed logs, coordinating return of items to owners, preparing unclaimed items for further handling.

Maintains appearance of booth by keeping counter neat, materials stocked, floors vacuumed, etc.

Uses computer systems to log lost & found items or access information for passengers.

Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Perform other duties as assigned.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Use computer and common office equipment including Microsoft Office and other software and applications.
For an information booth/lost and found agent at the Orlando Sanford International Airport, the ideal candidate should possess the following education, experience, and skills:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, ideally within an airport or transportation setting, is highly desirable.
Experience handling lost and found items, maintaining records, and assisting customers with inquiries is a significant advantage.
Familiarity with airport operations, facilities, and services is preferred.

Excellent communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
Customer service orientation: A friendly, patient, and helpful demeanor, along with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.

Other Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and had no recent illegal drug use
Ability to pass a Federal TSA and CBP Background Check and be badged for airport security
