The Operations Assistant Manager will work directly with the Operations manager helping problem-solve and optimize all steps within every facet of the business.
MacroCap Labs is a very fast-paced, rapidly evolving dietary supplement and beverage manufacturing company. MacroCap Labs work environment is very similar to that of a start-up with constant new product manufacturing equipment additions that is expanding to its third local location. The ideal candidate will be a process-first, solution-orientated individual that will build their own processes and protocols to ensure MacroCap Labs continued success.
Job Activities included but, not limited to:
- Coordinate with facility transfers, warehouse, purchasing, and inventory oversight to help facilitate communications and operations throughout the company.
- Work to improve workflow efficiencies by monitoring steps of the production processes, setting process variables, studying process methods, and implementing cost reduction strategies.
- Process customer orders, input new customer information, manage order entry.
- Providing accurate ETA's to the sales team and working with OP's manager to create the production schedule.
- Evaluate, research, and recommend cost reduction methods relative to purchased goods or services as well as necessary merchandise pricing to maintain established margins and lower P&L material contributions.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or equivalent job-related experience may be considered)
Continuous improvement experience /Lean/TPM
Manage customers and provide excellent customer service
Results-focused track record of accomplishments via measure to manage tools
Minimum 4+ years of directly related experience.
Advanced PC Skills including (but not limited to) MS Word, MS Excel, email, internet, and database management
Must be able to read and/or interpret numbers and letters correctly to calculate timeframe and evaluate costs and losses
Experience with MRP/ERP systems
Strong trade management skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
Quick learner who enjoys working on challenging tasks
Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers, and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between departments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
