Description: We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who will work under the direction of the PACE Director and will work closely with patients, nurses, NP’s and physician’s in administering medical services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering phones
- Greeting patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Filing patient records and other documents, as needed
- Assisting with medical procedures
- Drawing blood
- Taking blood pressure and body temperatures
- Collecting lab specimens
- Attending and participating in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Program, preferred.
- High School diploma, GED and applicable experience required.
