Job Description:

The Flight Operations (FO) Crew Pay Analyst is respon sible for auditing pilot trips, ensuring pilots are paid accurately and providing Customer Service when handling pilot inquiries. T his role uses tools such as CSS, Access and Alteryx and collaborates with A udit T eam, C rew S cheduling, and the Workday G roup, particularly regarding leave of absence, military leave, and workers' compensation cases. The GO Crew Pay Analyst is an adaptable problem-solver ready to help pilot the future of Southwest Airlines.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
Audit Trip Pairings for Pilots (Rigs, Non-fly, and Premiums)
Analyze metrics to respond to the audit queue.
Analyze pay incentives under the CBA
Review and Respond to all "General Question" Voicemails and E-Mails
Work pull sheet queue to make sure various employee leave types including (Sick Leave, Military Leave, Medical Leave, etc.) are processed correctly
Submit Manual Check Requests to correct pilot pay via Workday payroll system
Enter LOA Paper Bidding/Sick time accurately in CSS system
Provide Record Requests (Sick balances, Block Hours for Retirees, Payroll Reports, WOAF) to Pilots/Legal Department
Work with Analytics and Automation Teams in the automation of manual payroll process
Act as a representative on payroll data to FP &A and Crew Planning Teams
Analyze and update metrics on the payroll process and note what is "Completed"/"needs to be Completed" within the Department
Archive WOAF Report
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Skilled in providing payroll focused customer service via applicable communication tools
Knowledge to understand complex Excel models and Business Intelligence tools
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations related to Crew Resources
Intermediate knowledge of the Pilot Contract
Knowledge of CSS preferred
Knowledge of Pull sheet system preferred
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel experience (pivot tables, look up functions, etc.), MS Access (DB queries, etc.), and PowerPoint
Ability to handle and resolve complex tasks and disputes
Ability to read Documents, follow instructions, learn and understand office procedures and the application of contract language
Ability to Communicate effectively in person, phone calls, Voicemails, and E-Mails Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Preferred: Experience in Alteryx , Tableau , Workday payroll system.
Preferred: Familiarity with the crew scheduling system, CSS.
Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
Airline operations
Crew Pay Process
Auditing techniques
Airline Labor Agreements
Using Excel and business intelligence tools to drive business process changes and automation
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
Must be able to work varied shifts to include weekends and extended hours
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $66,150 per year to $73,500 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
