Exegistics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for our valued client in the Fort Worth/Everman area

Pay: Up to $26 hourly DOE
We're looking for someone with (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should possess practical knowledge of electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gearboxes, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair them as required.
Shift/Hours: Training will be provided on the first shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) for a period of 1-3 months, with the opportunity for transition to the second shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
WHAT YOU WILL DO as an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic
Reporting to the Maintenance & Repair Leader, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing repairs on production equipment and planned preventative & condition-based maintenance. The Maintenance Mechanic will be involved in planned improvements and maintenance project work. Primary equipment is CPG packaging and processing lines and support equipment.
· Learns machines mechanical & functional operation to support your abilities in troubleshooting complex machine issues.
· Uses electro-mechanical skills & experience to support machine repairs in a production environment.
· Performs preventative maintenance including Condition-based maintenance (CBM) / Time-based maintenance (TBM) PM's as required.
· Evaluates machines to identify conditions that require planned intervention. Generates reports on equipment as required.
· Responsible for communicating Maintenance downtime & PM deliverables to Maintenance Leadership
· Responsible for escalating urgent repair needs that have the potential of generating significant downtime.
· Completes Root Cause Analysis as required to identify failure causes and impacts on machine breakdowns.
· Performs and improves preventative maintenance inspections.
· Performs equipment lubrication, and oil analysis procedure as needed.
· Supports mechanical repairs and component replacement as needed.
· Shares knowledge to support development of other mechanical & operations staff on machine operation, repair, setup and center lining.
· May be required to facilitate or perform major refurbishment of assemblies or machines as directed.
· Flexes time and priorities as needed to support the business needs.
· Assumes responsibility for safe work practices in the performance of duties.
· Assumes responsibility for following Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Defense & adherence to LOTO and HSE policies in the performance of duties.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU as an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· 3 year’s maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
· Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Exceptional communication & time management skills (verbal & written)
· Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to support the business.
· Knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
· Organized and capable of maintaining, archiving and managing machine information & history.
· Possesses solid problem-solving abilities.
· Is a self-starter and proficient at working unsupervised.
· Strong Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to complete mechanical repairs and learn mechanical techniques.
