Responsibilities
- Manage incoming bills and compare against purchase orders.
- Follow up with staff and vendors about billing discrepancies.
- Process bills through Sage Intacct accounting software.
- Use reporting to follow up and investigate open purchase orders.
- Compare monthly vendor statements to Sage Intacct records, follow up on discrepancies.
- Sort and file bills and payments.
- Follow up with vendors for missing documents and information.
- Review payment requests from vendors, verify balances, and forward requests to management.
Requirements
- Data entry experience, but accounting certificate or experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability.
- Ability to organize, process, and file billing to multiple companies from a variety of sources.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- General computer knowledge and ability to learn new software systems.
