We train University students, known as Legacy Builders, to connect with older adult residents of retirement communities, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities via phone or through virtual visits. The discussions focus on building rapport and providing a sense of hope, while also allowing the older adult to impart wisdom and share stories of their past with the students. A legacy book is provided back to the resident at the end of the sessions.
We engage in additional services to organizations, such as lead generation through social media and freelancer work such as via Fivver or Upwork.
Job Description:
Tellegacy is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Remote Program Assistant to support our mission-driven team on a temporary or contract basis. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing our online presence and engagement through effective email campaigns, awareness initiatives, and social media management. This position will also play a crucial role in connecting Tellegacy with other companies and organizations through platforms like Upwork to foster partnerships for change.
Responsibilities:
- Email Campaigns: Design and implement email marketing strategies to engage subscribers, increase awareness of our programs, and drive participation in Tellegacy's initiatives.
- Awareness Campaigns: Assist in developing and executing awareness campaigns that effectively communicate Tellegacy's mission and services to a broader audience.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow Tellegacy’s presence on various social media platforms, including content creation, post scheduling, and interaction with followers to enhance engagement and reach.
- Platform Networking: Utilize platforms such as Upwork to identify and connect with potential partners and service providers that align with Tellegacy’s goals and values.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality, impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences, including writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, and social media updates.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of digital campaigns and social media activity, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Experience with email marketing tools and platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues and come up with solutions.
- Knowledge of or experience in non-profit sector and community outreach is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is preferred but not required.
Contract Details:
- This is a remote, temporary, or contract position.
- Flexible hours with a need to occasionally align with team schedules for meetings and updates.
- Compensation will be based on experience and aligned with industry standards.
