Blue Ocean Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its finance team in Fort Collins, CO. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced atmosphere where you will be exposed to work on accounting matters for a full portfolio of businesses.

Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will provide accurate mobile financial consolidated reporting and asset management reporting. The position’s focus will include consolidated financial reporting, integrated reporting between investment reporting and financial reporting with an emphasis on cash accuracy of effectiveness in the company’s financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports (including statement of cashflows) for senior management using MS Power BI or Tableau.
- Develop and manage consolidated financial reporting across 50 to 60 related entities.
· Manage accounting information systems (AIS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools and the digitization of the accounting function.
- Lead selection, implementation of ERP bolt-on apps and the integration of consolidated investment reporting and the general ledger.
- Mine ERP and produce Inventory and Fixed Assets analysis and visualizations for mobile consumption.
- Develop and maintain cash budgets on the BI platform utilizing ERP, Banking and Treasury Management applications. Responsible for mobile reporting of cash budget.
- Collaborate with operating business finance teams for financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting; preference to candidates with Financial Performance Management apps/tech.
- Generate ad-hoc and Quarterly Business Review dashboards utilizing Power BI or Tableau based on user requests.
- Test and debug stored procedures, functions, views and triggers in T-SQL.
- Implement best practices for report development including security, scalability, maintainability and usability standards.
- Optimize existing reports by improving query performance and reducing execution time.
Collaborate with other teams in the company, including legal, HR, IT, and real estate.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
5 years of experience, proficient with: Salesforce, MS Power BI, MS Fabric, SQL, cloud data migration,
5+ years' experience of accounting and financial reporting for a complex, tiered-entity structure preference to candidates from a comparable role at a family office, wealth management firm, ultra-high net worth tax group or similar organization.
Proven experience with producing consolidated financial statements and eliminations in the BI platform.
Practical experience accounting with ERPs--preference to candidates with Netsuite and MS Dynamics 365 BC.
Experienced in automating beginning accounting processes such as A/R, A/P, and Treasury (Coupa, Kyriba, Tallie, Tipalti, Bill.com, HighRadius, etc…)
Good knowledge of financial accounting standards and business trends.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫with accuracy and attention to detail.
Self-motivated individual able to pair and contribute to a strong team.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Must be discreet and reliable, able to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information, internally and externally.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Accounting with AIS Focus
Five years or more of related experience required.
MS Power BI Data Analyst Certification receives significant preference.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Salary Range
$85,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year.
