Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a MEP Building Facilities Condition Assessor to join our MEP Technical Due Diligence Team in North America to work on Public and Private Sector Projects in the Chicago area and Mid-West. The core responsibilities will largely relate to transactional property condition assessments, facility condition assessments, and consulting projects across the United States. The workload will be varied, and the ideal candidate will be willing to work across our technical advisory service offerings to broaden their understanding of real estate, construction, and development issues. The role has flexibility to accommodate the specific skill sets and aspirations of the right applicant. This role is hybrid with 2 to 3 days a week in the office.
Role accountabilities:
The position includes a relatively high level of responsibility and accountability with an opportunity to develop managerial as well as technical knowledge and skills, and to progress within a successful and growing specialist team.
- Manage and undertake professional technical consultancy commissions related to Technical Due Diligence including property condition assessment, facility condition assessment, Energy Audits, engineering solutions, feasibility analysis and capital planning.
- Coordinate with Arcadis Account Leaders, Project Managers, and Team Leaders to manage risk in service delivery and ensure efficient financial control resulting in a cost-effective service.
- Communicate with client and team members to ensure all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects.
- Collaboration with the Practice Leader to accelerate organic revenue growth and implementation of the business strategy in terms of the TDD offering.
- Report quantified information on the progress of each contract to Program Manager or Practice Leader regularly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or related degree is required.
3-5 years of multi-discipline experience in architecture, facilities, construction management, facility and/or property condition assessments.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $88,580 - $132,870.
