GM responsibilities are as follows, but are not limited to:
- Strive to enhance our guest experiences at every opportunity by satisfying and exceeding their expectations
- Create an effective work schedule to meet labor goals and ensure guest satisfaction
- Ensure all training and certification processes are in place and 100% compliant
- Effective interviewing skills for hiring only top performers. Responsible for all levels of staffing and new hire orientations
- Increase sales and profit by building community relationships/partnerships and providing outstanding product and service
- Ensure an effective work schedule is posted each week
- Demonstrate effective interviewing skills for hiring only top performers
- Responsible for all levels of staffing and new hire orientations
- Ensure all training and certification processes are in place and 100% compliant
- Clean and maintain equipment to company standards and follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Responsible for providing clear development plans and performance reviews for management staff
- Provide leadership by generating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment toward company objectives
- Execute quarterly business plans through the use of systems, training, operation manuals and all other available resources
- Assist District Managers in the execution of marketing plans
- Continually mentor Managers and Shift Managers in the operation of a Carl's Jr. Restaurant and prepare them for future advancement
- Review daily numbers each day of work and coach and praise their results
- Maintain an attitude of flexibility that allows performance above and beyond the parameters of this position description
- Work a 48 hour week minimum
- Successfully complete Carl's Jr Restaurants General Manager training program
- Maintain compliance with all Local, State and Federal guidelines as pertains to Labor Departments, Health Departments and OHSA, etc.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Authorization to work in the US
- Fluent English-speaking, reading and writing skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have availability to work 48 hours per week minimum
- Must have reliable transportation to work / Driver’s license in good standing
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance and adhering to the uniform policy
- Two years of restaurant or customer service management experience (preferred not required)
- Candidate must pass a drug screen and complete a background check and MVR check (Subject to periodic and random drug screening and annual background and MVR check)
- Successfully complete Carl’s Jr Restaurants General Manager training program
