We are seeking passionate and driven sales professionals to add to our growing team of Europe Destination Specialists. If you have experience in travel sales to any European countries or have lived/worked in Europe and have a sales background, then this is an exciting opportunity for you. This is a commission based role with a base salary. OTE are between 55K and 60K per year.
The role of the Reservations Sales Agent is to drive quality sales volume while building relationships with the Travel Advisor and Travel Agent community.
Actively manage sales pipeline of inbound leads through call center, direct phone calls, web requests and direct e-mail
Discover needs of client through consultative sales approach
Build custom Europe destination itineraries to include arrangements for air, hotels, sightseeing and ground transportation
Research and price services to align within client budget expectations
Provide mentorship and make recommendations on routing of itinerary based on client needs
Educate Travel Agent Partners about Europe Express products
Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business
Assist with changes to quotes and active reservations
Nurture warm leads generated by Outside Sales Team
Research and maintain current knowledge of all product offerings
Manage personal sales pipeline to ensure monthly sales targets are met or exceeded
Review bookings daily for accuracy and confirm all services have been reserved
Re-sell product when vital, e.g. hotel closures, major airline schedule changes, service disruptions
Enter all new direct leads into CRM (Hubspot) for follow up
Document deal progress and updates to stages at all points of the buying cycle
Exceed customer expectations and NPS satisfaction targets
Build cases for Partner Support Team to investigate post travel complaints
3+ years of sales experience in travel industry with a focus on Europe destinations required
Proven success in meeting or exceeding inside sales goals required
Experience with business-to-business sales and relationship/account management building skills preferred
Knowledge of CRM (Hubspot) and MS suite desired
Knowledge of airline reservation GDS systems desired (Amadeus preferred)
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
Ability to work hours aligned with Pacific Time Zone
Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities while working under pressure to meet immediate deadlines
Travel experience in Europe is desired
This position is eligible for fully remote working within the United States.
