Job Description: The Customer Service representative will assist the Operations and Sales Manager in the day-to-day administrative functions required for maintaining key accounts. This position requires direct contact with our customers and internal interaction on multiple levels including Sales, manufacturing, engineering, accounting, and shipping.
Basic Job Requirements:
*The ability to understand technical requirements/specifications for PCB's is required to perform well in this position*
Ø Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for quoting, purchase orders, and updating/inputting jobs through manufacturing industry software
Ø The ability to interface professionally with customers by email, phone, and through direct contact.
Ø Must be computer literate and highly accurate in your work.
Ø Must be able to follow written and verbal work instructions percisely.
Ø The ability to work in a fast-paced business under pressure.
Ø Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Ø The ability to check inventory for type and quantity of materials
Ø Other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ø Must be highly organized and able to multitask
Ø Ability and willingness to learn new skills, understand fundamental processes within printed circuit board manufacturing, and positively grasp work critiques/feedback
Ø The work ethic to get the job done and timely communicate any issues that arise
Ø The ability to read, write and speak English
Ø The ability to complete basic math calculations
Ø Have a High School diploma or GED
Candidate preferences:
Ø Two years experience in manufacturing-related customer service with transferable skills related to customer service for circuit board fabrication (preferred)
Ø Previous knowledge of circuit board manufacturing processes (preferred)
Ø Further preference is given to applicants with customer service experience in formulating Quotes and Purchase orders in the printed circuit board industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
