We are a packaging distribution company committed to providing customers with excellent service. We are currently seeking an individual with an exceptional customer service background with a strong focus on sales support. This position will act as a liaison between the customers and our Sales Team. Must be very detailed oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to handle several tasks at one time, and have the ability to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team based on market analysis to support strategic planning and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to process samples, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking. Assist in managing customer history and interactions to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Conduct visits and or consistent contact via email, phone calls to key customers to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, and gather feedback. Act as a liaison between customers and sales, purchasing teams to address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Partner with the purchasing department to source new products and gather samples for testing. Coordinate with outside representatives to ensure they have access to the necessary resources for sales presentations and demonstrations.
- Conduct discovery calls for inbound leads to understand their requirements and pain points. Perform need assessments to determine the appropriate solutions and collaborate with the sales manager to assign leads to the relevant team members.
- Compile and provide detailed reports on sales activity, including but not limited to sample processing, customer interactions, and sales team performance. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in managing the sales team’s pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales forecasts. Collaborate with sales managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information for effective decision-making.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Provide insights and recommendations to the sales team based on market analysis to support strategic planning and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in customer service, sales support, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel to visit key customers as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Packaging industry
- Familiarity with sales and marketing principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Previous experience in generating sales reports and analyzing market trends.
